Our History

Kountry Kuzn Worm Farm was started in 1996, we didn't sell any worms that year but we learned a lot. Like most folks, we started with Rubbermaid plastic bins.

In late 1998 we expanded to the wood bins, also used old freezers and even an old washing machine for bins.     I still use some of my old bins on a temporary basis, especially in the spring when I am at maximum capacity.

Our first worm house was this 18 footer, it didn't take long to outgrow it.     Once we filled it up it was back to outside bins.     We are still using that first worm house we also have some 30 footers now.

We started with Red Wigglers and in 2001 expanded with European Night Crawlers and in the fall of 2003 we added the African Night Crawlers.
